This website is operated by Lyttelton Lights Limited (Company Number 6012018). By using this website and placing an order through our store, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or place an order.

When using this website, you must not:

  • Breach another person’s privacy or legal rights
  • Defame, harass, threaten, or offend any person
  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with another user’s experience
  • Tamper with or modify the website in any way
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Send unsolicited electronic messages
  • Use bots, scraping tools, or automated data collection methods
  • Assist another person in carrying out prohibited activities

Lyttelton Lights accepts returns for change of mind purchases made through our online store, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase
  • Proof of purchase must be provided
  • Products must be unopened, unused, and in original condition
  • Items purchased as part of a set must be returned as a complete set
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty

We do not accept returns for products that have been opened unless the product is faulty.

Your rights under applicable consumer laws remain unaffected by this returns policy.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and approved. Processing fees and the value of any free gifts no longer qualified for may be deducted from the refund total.

Orders purchased using a Lyttelton Lights Gift Card will be refunded via a replacement Gift Card.

If you have received the incorrect order, please contact us as soon as possible at:

We will arrange a replacement once the incorrect item has been returned to us.

Once your order has been received and packed by our dispatch team, we are unable to cancel or refund your order.

Orders placed using Afterpay cannot be changed or cancelled once confirmed.

Lyttelton Lights Gift Cards expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

After expiry, any remaining balance will be forfeited and the Gift Card will no longer be valid.

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given.

Any remaining balance can be used on future purchases until expiry.

Please ensure your delivery details are entered correctly at checkout. We are unable to change addresses once orders have been fulfilled.

Lyttelton Lights cannot take responsibility for parcels delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.

If your New Zealand order has not arrived within 5 working days, please contact NZ Post using your tracking number before contacting us.

International orders may incur customs taxes or import duties upon arrival in your country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

No refunds will be issued where taxes or duties remain unpaid.

All international orders are shipped via DHL Express tracked service.

Please ensure someone is available to receive or collect your order if delivery instructions are left.

We are unable to resend international orders free of charge if parcels are returned to us.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.

If you are a consumer in New Zealand, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded by law.

You may be entitled to a replacement, repair, refund, or compensation where products fail to meet acceptable quality standards under New Zealand consumer law.

Australian customers may have rights to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Where a valid claim is made under Australian Consumer Law, we will either:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Refund the purchase price

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when making a claim, however approved claims may have those costs reimbursed.
